Thy Kingdom Come

During Thy Kingdom Come, it is hoped that everyone who takes part will:

  • Deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Pray for God’s spirit to work in the lives of those they know
  • Come to realise that every aspect of their life is the stuff of prayer

Everyone at St Oswald’s is encouraged to join in by coming to the prayer events in the church, and / or praying at home or at work.

Pocket sized prayer booklets are available to support prayer for day to day life and postcards are offered, inviting you to pray for 5 people who need to discover, or re-discover, God in their lives and for the mission priorities at St Oswald’s.

  • Building on the initial welcome and drawing people into the St Oswald’s community
  • Developing consistency in pastoral care
  • Developing our presence in the local community: Visibility, events and use of the outside space;
  • Developing our presence in the local community: Community engagement and social justice
  • Developing and strengthening the life and faith of the St Oswald’s community
